The property is reached along a lake view courtyard garden path which features a glorious Water fountain and through a gate into the property’s private sunny Garden with commanding views over the village, breathtaking mountains and serene Lake. From the romantic Italian style Garden the character front door opens onto a beautifully tiled Hallway with wonderful high vaulted ceiling and antique furniture pieces to evoke the grandeur of the previous Noble inhabitants. From the hallway a very light and well proportioned Living room with wooden floors and character features is situated with comfortable sofas, elegant furnishings and delightful shutters which, once opened boast wonderful Lake and Garden views. From the Living room a spacious fully-fitted kitchen with beautiful tiles, marble work tops and a generously proportioned Dining area are situated. The high ceilings provide a pleasant calm and serenity and the views over a well landscaped Garden all provide for a pleasant scene. From the imposing hallway a principal Bedroom with King-size bed is also situated. The Suite also offers a generous walk in wardrobe which in turn leads to a luxurious marble fitted En-suite Bathroom with Jacuzzi Bathtub. A second Bedroom with single Bed ideal for children is situated further along the hallway and is situated conveniently opposite a second Luxuriously fitted Bathroom with Power Shower. A feature at the end of the elegant hallway nearby the second Bedroom and Bathroom is an original stone water fountain. A short flight of stone steps lead down to a mid Ground-Basement floor which offers a third character Bedroom with Daybed and a third Luxuriously fitted Bathroom with Power Shower. From this landing a second flight of stone steps leads you to the basement level which offers a fourth Bedroom ideal for a second couple staying with a King-size Bed, Wood-burning stove and seating area. The ceilings are high and the room is generously proportioned, with access out onto a stone path which leads though the grounds past fascinating cellars to the Residents’ Tennis courts and to the Indoor and Outdoor Swimming pools and Sauna which can be enjoyed leisurely by guests during their stay. Access to the recreational facilities is also available on the ground floor of the property by way of a flight of steps which leads off from the resident’s courtyard path outside. ‘Antica Julius’ is ideally situated for escapism and relaxation on an elevated position of the rustic village of Mezzegra but still offers easy access to local amenitie being just a 2 minute’s drive from the village’s Supermarkets, Bakery, modern Bar with a selection of local ice-creams and pasteries and the imposing whitewash Church which offers panoramic Lake views over the Bay of Lenno for you to enjoy. The Village of Mezzegra is located along the central western shoreline of Lake Como, which is ideally situated for you and your guests to explore the famous attractions and activities. A regular Lake Como bus route operates through the village which is convenient for day trips to explore the Lake’s towns. A 5 minute’s drive takes you to the historical lakeside town of Lenno which offers a wide variety of amenities, a beautiful promenade, the popular Lido di Lenno with family friendly beach, restaurant and bar and the famous Villa del Balbianello. The beautiful views from Tremezzo, the Passenger and Car ferry at Cadenabbia and the pretty well-serviced Resort town of Menaggio are also just a short drive away. | |||||||||||||||||||||

| To make a confirmed booking, you will be asked to fill in our online booking form and pay a 30% deposit by wire transfer or credit card. The remaining holiday balance will then be due 6 weeks before arrival. | |||||||||||||||||||||
